Whether it’s a lifelong dream or a weekend getaway, Alco Federal Credit Union offers a variety of great savings options to help you get there. They’re all NCUA-insured, so you know your money is safe. Our deposit accounts let you earn competitive interest rates while keeping your money totally liquid so you can get to it when you need it.

Share (savings) account
A competitive dividend rate is compounded and paid quarterly to accounts with an average daily balance of $100.00. Opening and minimum balance requirement of $5.00.
Youth share account
Persons 18 years and under can open a savings account with a deposit of $5.00. A legal guardian or parent must sign as joint owner. There is no monthly service or withdrawal fee.
Additional share accounts
There’s more than one way to save for the future, so we offer more than one savings option. Like our Christmas Club Account and Vacation Club Account. All come standard with the full protection of the NCUA, and a promise from us to provide as much interest as possible for your dedicated savings.
Share certificates
We offer certificates for 6 months and 1 year. The Board of Directors determines rates monthly. All certificates have a minimum balance requirement of $500.00.
IRA share certificates
We offer certificates for 1 year and 3 years. Dividends are posted at maturity.
Share draft (checking) account
Our individual share draft accounts offer the benefits and convenience of a traditional bank checking account. No per check charge. Carbonless duplicate drafts and comprehensive monthly statement. No minimum balance requirement.
Individual retirement share accounts
$500.00 Minimum opening deposit. Dividends compounded and posted monthly.
Money market accounts
Minimum opening deposit of $2500.00. Three withdrawals allowed per month after which a fee will be imposed and withdrawal amounts must be at least $300.00. Dividends compounded and posted quarterly.
